Engagement Executive

JOB SUMMARY
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Engagement, and is responsible for forming and promoting positive existing relationships and developing new partnerships with ONE’s core target audiences. These include parish-based leaders, ministry members, pastoral staff and Church organisations to support the development of effective and sustainable pastoral capabilities within Catholic entities in the archdiocese of Singapore.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and nurture positive, long-term relationships between ONE and Catholic entities.
- Proactively engage clergy, staff and volunteers of Catholic entities to promote and support the mission to become evangelising and disciple-making.
- Contribute to initiatives and programmes and resources in light of the opportunities and gaps in the areas of evangelisation and disciple-making.
- Operationalise the smooth running of ONE’s mission engagements and initiatives.
- Track multiple ongoing engagements through maintaining accurate records, monitoring follow ups and systematic upkeep of databases.
- Support the network of collaborators involved in the work of evangelisation and disciple making.
- Carry out any other matters that the Executive Director may require.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A recognised degree in communications, social sciences, or a related field. Degree or diploma in pastoral theology would be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in pastoral settings and programme development within a parish or Catholic organisation is preferred.
- Possess an outgoing and supportive disposition, with strong interpersonal skills and initiative to build, develop, and sustain positive relationships.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively through a variety of channels (written, verbal and digital).
- Methodical and detailed approach in managing ongoing relationships, supported by strong record keeping skills.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and managing multiple tasks.
