JOB SUMMARY

The Office for the New Evangelisation (ONE) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Project Facilitator (Contract) to help drive the development of a formation initiative for missionary discipleship. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for evangelisation. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Catholic community, document progress, and offer recommendations to ensure the initiative is built on a strong foundation.

You will explore how different groups are forming and equipping missionary disciples, analyse their approaches, and help shape an inspiring platform that encourages Catholics to live their faith more fully in daily life. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will foster collaboration, build networks, and create opportunities for shared learning and growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document key discussions, decisions, and milestones to track the progress of the initiative.
  • Provide regular, clear, and insightful reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with evangelisers, lay apostolate groups, and other stakeholders to align objectives and gather valuable insights.
  • Foster networks and partnerships to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual inspiration within the Catholic community.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging discussions, workshops, and meetings that energise participants and drive the project forward.
  • Analyse feedback and input from practitioners to identify key needs and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop well-researched recommendations to guide decisions and ensure the initiative’s success.
  • Build an inclusive, inspiring platform for formation and collaboration, bringing evangelisation practitioners together in meaningful ways.
  • Serve as a connector between different networks, creating opportunities for shared mission and impact.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in theology, Religious Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a religious or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic teachings, evangelisation, and the mission of the Church.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills to synthesise input effectively.
  • Strong facilitation skills to guide discussions and promote collaboration.
  • Outstanding writing skills for documentation and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in curriculum development and educational programme design is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the local Catholic community and archdiocesan structure is a plus.
