OUR COLLABORATORS
The Office for the New Evangelisation is committed to building a ministry of collaborators to facilitate initiatives to move baptised Catholics into becoming missionary disciples, where collaborators become instruments of God's love to share Jesus with those they encounter.
ONE's Mission for Its Collaborators
Working Together to Become Missionary Disciples for Christ
- As laity, our duty is to become witnesses for the Gospel and sharing about Jesus with everyone we encounter - being missionary and evangelising.
- Our collaborators help us in this mission for the Archdiocese of Singapore.
Offering Spiritual Formation and Development Opportunities
- Formation is a lifelong process that is necessary for all laity.
- We are committed to helping our collaborators build the necessary charisms to help them become better witnesses for Christ.
Building A Ministry For Mission and Evangelisation
- The laity are called towards holiness - growing in faith with God; and communion - growing as the body of Christ.
- We are committed to growing our collaborators in holiness and communion, as brothers and sisters in Christ.
What We Hope For Our Collaborators
As we build our ministry of collaborators, we hope that they can serve through various gifts and charisms, including:
- Events (e.g. Registration, Ushering, Logistics, Group Facilitation, Scribes)
- Writers (creating content for Publications, Social Media etc.)
- Communications (Social Media, Website, Publicity)
- Designers
- Photographers
- Videographers
and more - we pray that all of our collaborators can use their gifts for service for love of Christ and others.
Our Formation:
ONE's first calling for our collaborators is to be missionary disciples for Christ in their daily lives. We are in the midst of setting up our formation process, for our collaborators to receive formation on a regular basis and equip them to be witnesses for Christ. More details will be released when they are finalised.
